FAQs

Is the number of farms and regions limited for which I can do crop monitoring?

You can monitor virtually unlimited number of fields globally. But it should be considered that our Production Monitor works crop wise. Also, we recommend to group fields by growing regions or climatic zones to get best analytical results. This is supported by the production monitor.

What input data do I need to run the production monitor?

We mainly need the polygon describing the field boundary. A field boundary must only contain one single crop, otherwise the field will be shown as anomaly.  Together with the polygon the crop type and the sending and the expected harvest date must be given, to define the monitoring period for this parcel. No other data is needed.

Does the production monitor work for all crops?

The production monitor has been most tested with field crops. Here practically all crops can be monitored. Also, the main permanent crops should be possible, but have not been tested extensively yet. In case of doubt, please contact us.
